Midwife

Amalia Syifa Wirasakti Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join our growing healthcare team. As a Midwife at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and their babies throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality midwifery services. You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of labor, assisting during deliveries, providing prenatal and postnatal education, and offering emotional support to patients and their families. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns
• Monitor the health and progress of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and labor
• Assist obstetricians and medical teams during normal and complicated deliveries
• Perform initial assessments and physical examinations of patients upon admission
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients on breastfeeding, newborn care, family planning, and postpartum recovery
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide immediate intervention when necessary
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and healthcare regulations
• Participate in health education programs and community outreach activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Midwifery from an accredited institution
• Possession of a valid and active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) license
• Holding an APN (Asuhan Persalinan Normal) certificate and other relevant supporting certifications
• Detail-oriented, honest, and highly responsible in performing duties
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and empathetic approach to patients
• Willing to work in a shift system, including weekends and public holidays
• Physically and mentally healthy with the stamina to handle demanding situations
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
