Job Responsibilities
As a Medical Device Store Sales Associate, your daily tasks will revolve around customer service, product knowledge, and maintaining an organized store environment. You will be expected to:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly, polite, and professional manner.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate medical devices, health equipment, and supplies.
- Explain product features, usage instructions, and care guidelines to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the medical devices and health products sold in the store.
- Arrange and restock merchandise on shelves and display areas to keep the store presentable.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales requests with patience and professionalism.
- Support sales targets by actively promoting products and upselling related items when appropriate.
- Work overtime when required, especially during peak periods or promotional events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily store operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Male or female, maximum 30 years old and unmarried.
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a Diploma (D3/D4) is preferred, especially for graduates from health-related fields such as nursing, pharmacy, or medical technology.
- No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Not currently employed elsewhere and not planning to continue studies while working.
- Friendly, courteous, and trustworthy in all work activities.
- Responsible, disciplined, and honest with a strong work ethic.
- Basic sales skills with an interest in sales development and customer engagement.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse customers.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle store tasks.
Work Schedule and Environment
This is a full-time retail position with working days from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00. The store environment is clean, well-organized, and focused on health and medical products. You will work alongside a supportive team that values honesty, discipline, and customer care. The role may require occasional overtime, particularly during busy seasons or special promotions, and you will be compensated according to company policy.
