Job Responsibilities
As an Indonesian Language Teacher at SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality language education to vocational high school students. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Indonesian language lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school standards
- Developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Bahasa Indonesia
- Creating lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that support effective learning
- Evaluating student progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their language proficiency
- Maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment
- Collaborating with fellow teachers and school staff to support overall student development
- Participating in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
- Supporting the school’s mission and values as part of the Muhammadiyah educational network
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications and possess the right attitude to contribute to our school community:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Indonesian Language Education, Indonesian Literature, or a related field
- Muslim/Muslimah
- Maximum age of 35 years old
- Open to all genders
- No prior teaching experience required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Diligent, hardworking, and committed to continuous improvement
- Honest, responsible, and professional in conduct
- Willing to become a Muhammadiyah cadre (kader Muhammadiyah)
- Strong teaching skill development capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
