Job Responsibilities
As an English Tutor at Mastin Education Center, your daily responsibilities will center on planning and delivering effective English lessons while supporting students in their learning journey. Your main duties include:
- Teaching English to students across various levels, both individually and in small groups.
- Preparing lesson materials, exercises, and learning activities that suit each student’s needs and proficiency level.
- Explaining grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills in a clear and engaging manner.
- Assessing student progress through quizzes, assignments, and informal evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
- Creating a supportive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation.
- Maintaining discipline and professionalism during teaching sessions, including punctuality and reliability.
- Communicating regularly with the academic team regarding student development and any challenges encountered.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
We welcome candidates from a range of educational backgrounds, provided they demonstrate strong English proficiency and a genuine interest in teaching. The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field; active students in at least their sixth semester are also encouraged to apply.
- Open to all genders.
- No prior teaching experience required — fresh graduates and beginners are welcome.
- Good personality with a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
- Disciplined, honest, polite, and responsible in carrying out duties.
- Strong academic knowledge and effective teaching skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing materials and reports.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work according to the schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
