Book Binding Machine Operator

Percetakan Utama Offset is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Book Binding Machine Operator to join our production team in Yogyakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various book binding machines, including perfect binding, saddle stitching, and folding equipment. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that binding processes run smoothly, efficiently, and according to schedule. Job Responsibilities

• Operate book binding machines such as perfect binding, saddle stitching, and folding machines according to production specifications.
• Set up machines by adjusting settings, loading materials, and performing test runs to ensure proper binding quality.
• Monitor the binding process continuously to detect and correct any issues such as misalignment, loose pages, or improper cuts.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of binding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting on machine control systems and report any technical problems to the supervisor.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Record production output and report any material shortages or equipment issues to the production manager.
• Assist in other production tasks as needed to support the overall workflow.

Job Requirements

• Male, aged 19 to 28 years old.
• Minimum education: SMK or equivalent (D3/D4 graduates are welcome to apply).
• Preferably domiciled in Yogyakarta or willing to relocate to the area.
• No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Neat appearance and professional behavior.
• Basic understanding of machine control system maintenance is a plus.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
