Job Responsibilities
As a Social Studies Teacher at SMP Sains Rouna, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Social Studies lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Developing creative teaching methods and instructional materials that make social studies topics relevant and interesting for students.
- Assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, and classroom participation, and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Guiding students in developing analytical thinking, research skills, and an understanding of social and civic responsibility.
- Collaborating with fellow teachers and school staff to support student development and school activities.
- Participating in school programs, meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Supporting students who live in the dormitory by fostering a conducive learning atmosphere outside classroom hours.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, preferably in Social Studies or a related field.
- Open to male and female candidates.
- Fresh graduates are strongly preferred and encouraged to apply.
- Willing and ready to live in the school dormitory.
- Single (not yet married).
- Strong understanding of educational principles and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to develop learning methods and teaching skills effectively.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and committed to student success.
- Available to work Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
