Job Responsibilities
As a Freelance Chemistry Tutor, your primary responsibility is to deliver effective and engaging chemistry lessons to students at various educational levels. You will be expected to prepare lesson materials, explain scientific concepts clearly, and assess student progress through regular evaluations. The role requires a strong command of chemistry subject matter, including organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, as well as the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Plan and deliver chemistry lessons in accordance with the curriculum and student needs.
- Explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Prepare teaching materials, practice problems, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and motivating classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with students and, where relevant, parents or guardians regarding academic progress.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors to share best practices and teaching resources.
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong academic background in chemistry or a related science field, along with a genuine passion for teaching. The ideal candidate should be patient, communicative, and capable of inspiring students to reach their full potential. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, though candidates with strong subject mastery are encouraged to apply.

- Ability to develop engaging teaching methods and materials.
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to student success.
- Willing to work on a freelance basis from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00.
