Ocean Bar & Kitchen is looking for dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our back-of-house team. Job Responsibilities
As Kitchen Staff at Ocean Bar & Kitchen, you will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring that every dish is prepared and delivered according to our standards. Your main duties will include:
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with basic food preparation tasks
- Working at the appan station in the kitchen as assigned by the supervisor
- Handling incoming orders efficiently, especially during peak hours and high-volume service
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including stoves, fryers, and other standard tools
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in your work area at all times
- Coordinating with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate order completion
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures
- Supporting the team with additional kitchen tasks when needed
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a busy kitchen setting. To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Male or female, minimum 18 years of age
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree)
- Open to all genders
- No prior experience required, though experience in a kitchen or restaurant is an advantage
- Accustomed to handling busy order flows and high-pressure service periods
- Willing and able to work long shifts
- Ready to be placed at the appan station in the kitchen
- Disciplined, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment and tools
Work Schedule
This position follows a Monday to Saturday work schedule, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. Candidates should be prepared for long shifts and a dynamic kitchen environment where teamwork and stamina are essential.
What We Offer
Ocean Bar & Kitchen provides a supportive working environment where kitchen staff can develop practical skills in food preparation, station management, and high-volume service. Compensation for this role ranges from 2,100,000.00 to 7,300,000.00, depending on your qualifications and experience.
