Job Responsibilities
As a Chinese Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of Chinese dishes that meet the high standards of our resort. Your daily tasks will include:
- Preparing and cooking authentic Chinese dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensuring all food is prepared with consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Managing ingredients, including proper storage, handling, and minimizing waste
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstations
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
- Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Assisting in inventory checks and reporting kitchen supply needs
- Working efficiently during peak service hours to ensure timely delivery of dishes
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as a Chinese Cook or in a similar culinary role
- Strong cooking skills with expertise in Chinese cuisine
- Experience working in a hotel or resort kitchen is preferred
- Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Highly motivated, flexible, and maintains a positive attitude
- Must be an Indonesian citizen
- Available to join immediately
Work Schedule and Environment
This position follows a work schedule from Monday to Saturday, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. You will be part of a professional kitchen team in a resort setting, where teamwork, efficiency, and a commitment to quality are essential. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during busy service periods.
What We Offer
Meruorah Komodo Labuhan Bajo offers a competitive salary range of IDR 1,500,000 to IDR 3,200,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
