Job Responsibilities
As a Production Operator & Die Cutting Operator, you will play a direct role in keeping the production line running smoothly, from printing preparation through to the finishing stage. Your day-to-day responsibilities are expected to include:
- Operating production machinery in line with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Setting up, running, and monitoring die cutting (plong) machines, including manual and automatic units.
- Preparing materials and supporting equipment before each production run.
- Checking output quality and identifying defects such as misaligned cuts, imperfect creasing, or damaged sheets.
- Performing basic maintenance and routine cleaning of machines and work areas.
- Reporting machine issues, material shortages, or production delays to the supervisor.
- Working according to assigned shift schedules and meeting daily production targets.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications

- Male candidates, in line with the operational requirements of this position.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent. Graduates of SMK Grafika with a focus on production or production preparation are strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in the offset printing industry.
- Prior internship or work experience in an offset or manual printing company.
- Able to operate plong (die cutting) machines, both manual and automatic types.
- Willing to work in shifts.
- Quick to adapt to new work environments, machines, and production processes.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods in a production setting.
- Disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a production team.
Skills and Personal Qualities
Beyond technical ability, the ideal candidate brings a practical, reliable approach to factory work. Good hand-eye coordination, mechanical awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility are important for operating die cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
