Igor’s Pastry is looking for a reliable and hardworking Steward to join our kitchen team. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the maintenance and cleanliness of the work environment, ensuring all areas meet established hygiene standards.
- Operate the kitchen washing station, including cleaning the sink area and all equipment that needs to be washed within it.
- Wash all cooking utensils, pots, pans, and dining equipment thoroughly to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
- Ensure that production areas and office spaces remain clean, organized, and free from dirt, waste, and clutter.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen and restaurant areas to uphold health and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed throughout the shift.
- Support the kitchen team by keeping workstations stocked with clean equipment and supplies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum education of SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school level).
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience; experience in the hospitality, restaurant, or customer service industry is a strong advantage.
- Male candidates are preferred for this role.
- Strong physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and the ability to lift light loads.
- Basic understanding of food sanitation and hygiene principles.
- Willingness to work on a shift system, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness.

Work Schedule and Environment
This position follows a Monday to Sunday work schedule with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. The role operates on a shift system, which may include weekends and public holidays.
