Job Responsibilities
As an English Tutor at Les Privat Science Class, your daily responsibilities will center on planning and delivering effective English language lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students. You will be expected to:
- Teach English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversation, to students across different age groups and proficiency levels
- Develop and prepare engaging lesson plans and learning materials tailored to each student’s needs and goals
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions that encourage active participation and build students’ confidence in using English
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and practice tests, and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for English proficiency examinations such as TOEFL and IELTS where applicable
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and disciplined learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and staff to share teaching strategies and improve overall teaching quality
- Keep accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student performance
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong English language proficiency and a genuine passion for teaching. The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English Literature, English Education, or a related field; current university students in their final years are also welcome to apply
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Capable of teaching grammar, vocabulary, and conversation effectively
- Possession of a TOEFL or IELTS certificate is highly preferred
- Open to all genders
