Job Responsibilities
As a Barista at Bumi Resto, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. Your daily tasks will include:
- Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of the beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Welcoming customers warmly and providing friendly, efficient service.
- Operating and maintaining coffee machines and other barista equipment properly.
- Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Monitoring beverage ingredient stock levels and reporting inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Assisting with inventory recording and stock checks using the company’s inventory system.
- Collaborating with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handling customer feedback professionally and escalating issues when necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this Barista position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in the same position (barista or similar beverage preparation role).
- Open to all genders.
- Good communication skills in both Indonesian and, ideally, basic English.
- Good appearance and professional grooming, as the role involves direct customer interaction.
- Teamwork-oriented with an outstanding attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Solid knowledge of beverage menus, including coffee and non-coffee drinks.
- Experience and specialization in Indonesian food and Western cuisine environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and basic stock management.
