Job Responsibilities
As a Salon Therapist, your daily work will focus on providing professional beauty and hair services while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, precision, and customer care. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing nail art services, including creative designs and hand-painted details, as this is a core focus of the role.
- Performing hair treatments such as creambath and smooting to keep clients’ hair healthy and beautiful.
- Handling haircuts and hair coloring services according to client preferences and salon standards.
- Ensuring every treatment is delivered with accuracy, neatness, and attention to detail.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized work area and salon equipment.
- Greeting clients warmly and providing friendly, patient, and attentive service throughout their visit.
- Following all salon procedures, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines.
- Participating in ongoing training sessions to improve skills and stay updated with beauty trends.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this Salon Therapist position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Female, aged 17 to 21 years old, and unmarried.
- Domiciled outside Bukittinggi.
- Experienced or have a strong hobby in nail art and the ability to paint or draw (this is the main point of the role).
- Minimum education of SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Experienced in salon services such as creambath, smooting, haircutting, and coloring.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, neat, patient, diligent, and friendly.
- Willing to be trained and to follow all training programs provided by the salon.
- Willing to work under a 2-year employment contract.
- Possess basic beauty therapy skills relevant to salon services.
Work Schedule and Environment
This position follows a Monday to Saturday work schedule from 08:00 to 17:00. The work environment at Andesya Beauty is professional, supportive, and focused on skill development, making it an ideal place for someone who is passionate about beauty therapy and eager to grow in the industry.
