Job Responsibilities
As an Automotive Mechanic at PT Bosowa Berlian Motor, your daily responsibilities will include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of vehicles. You will be expected to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups. Additionally, you will use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues, then carry out the necessary repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on customer vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report findings to supervisors or service advisors.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring all work meets company and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and self-learning.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this Automotive Mechanic position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education of SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably with a major in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in the same field, particularly in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Demonstrated initiative and a target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to work Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
