PT Kayu Mebel Indonesia is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Export Staff to join our finance team in Sidoarjo. As an Accounting Export Staff, you will play a vital role in managing the financial documentation and payment processes related to our international export operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with export regulations.
Job Responsibilities
As an Accounting Export Staff at PT Kayu Mebel Indonesia, your daily responsibilities will focus on managing the financial aspects of our export activities. You will work closely with various departments and external parties to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Record and verify all purchase documents related to exports, including vendor invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipt confirmations.
- Process timely payments to both local and international vendors, such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other service providers.
- Manage international payment documents, including Telegraphic Transfer (TT) and Letter of Credit (LC).
- Match invoices with supporting export documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.
- Record and monitor incoming payments from overseas customers.
- Ensure export sales invoices are issued correctly and in accordance with export terms, including incoterms and exchange rates.
- Perform payment reconciliation against invoices and bank statements, particularly for transactions in foreign currencies.
- Follow up on overdue receivables with relevant parties to ensure timely collection.
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and demonstrate the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive, communicative, and willing to grow within our organization.
- Minimum D3 or S1 degree in Accounting.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; however, candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience will be given preference.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting is considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet usage.
- Understanding of taxation, financial statement preparation, journal entries, and cash management.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and an open-minded attitude.
- Willing to be placed in Sidoarjo.
- Female candidates are preferred for this position.
- Maximum age of 25 years old.
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, is essential for handling international transactions.

Work Schedule
