Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant in a cosmetics and skincare store, you will be the face of the business on the sales floor. Your daily work centers on helping customers find the right products while keeping the store presentable and well-stocked. Typical responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers warmly and identifying their beauty and skincare needs
- Recommending and explaining cosmetics and skincare products clearly and honestly
- Demonstrating product usage and highlighting key benefits and ingredients
- Handling transactions accurately, including cash and non-cash payments
- Maintaining neat, attractive product displays and store cleanliness
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting items that need replenishment
- Arranging new arrivals and ensuring price tags and labels are correct
- Building good relationships with regular customers to encourage repeat visits
- Following store opening and closing procedures as instructed by the supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
The store is looking for candidates who take their work seriously and can be trusted to represent the brand well. Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- Female, with a maximum age of 25 years old
- Minimum education of SMA/SMK or equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in retail or beauty sales
- Honest, disciplined, and hardworking
- Well-groomed and presentable, with a professional appearance
- Friendly, communicative, and comfortable serving customers directly
- Willing to work full-time hours from 09:00 to 18:40
- Must not be currently employed elsewhere, as this position requires full commitment
- Basic familiarity with cosmetics and skincare products is an advantage
- Additional technical skills, such as 3D Max, are considered a plus
