Job Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Catering Staff member, you will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that every dish meets our standards for presentation, portion accuracy, and cleanliness. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the chef with daily plating tasks to ensure consistent presentation across all meals
- Taking responsibility for plating, portioning (gramasi), and special request plating based on client or menu requirements
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times
- Ensuring the hygiene and safety of all food products throughout preparation and serving
- Monitoring food quality and presentation to meet company and client standards
- Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining an efficient and sanitary workflow
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are committed to food quality and can thrive in a fast-paced catering environment. To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Male or female candidates are welcome to apply
- Minimum education: D3/D4, preferably with a background as an Ahli Gizi (nutritionist)
- Maximum age of 30 years old
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food nutrition, food analysis, and food quality analysis
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands
- Available to join as soon as possible
- Domiciled in Balikpapan and willing to be placed in Balikpapan
