The Djabu Hotels Bali is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable General Cashier to join our finance team. As a General Cashier, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the hotel’s cash flow, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the smooth daily operations of our finance department.
Job Responsibilities
As a General Cashier at The Djabu Hotels Bali, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of cashiering and accounting duties. Your daily tasks will include:
- Collecting, counting, and reconciling cash and other payments received from various hotel outlets and departments.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports, including journal ledgers and necessary adjustments.
- Recording all financial transactions into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Managing petty cash funds and ensuring proper documentation for all disbursements.
- Handling supplier payments and maintaining strong relationships with vendors through effective supplier management.
- Verifying and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Performing daily cashier closing procedures and preparing bank deposits.
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities as required by the finance team.
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and Financial Accounting standards.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve any cashiering or payment discrepancies.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this General Cashier position, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:
- Male, as required for this role.
- Minimum education of Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent, with a preference for vocational high school graduates in Accounting.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a cashier or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Solid understanding of Financial Accounting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, particularly Jurnal ID.
- Capable of preparing complete financial reports, including journal ledgers and adjustments.
- Able to work accurately, quickly, and diligently under pressure.
- Experienced in supplier management and vendor communication.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule and Environment
This is a full-time position with working days from Monday to Saturday, and working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. You will be based at The Djabu Hotels Bali, working closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure the hotel’s financial operations run smoothly. The role requires a high level of accuracy and reliability, as you will be entrusted with handling sensitive financial information and cash assets.
