Job Responsibilities
As an English Tutor, you will play a key role in helping university students improve their English proficiency, both in spoken and written communication. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and effective English lessons to university students, both individually and in small groups
- Developing lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to students’ proficiency levels and academic needs
- Teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and conversational English
- Assessing students’ progress through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students achieve their language learning goals
- Maintaining a positive, motivating, and inclusive learning environment
- Communicating regularly with students and, where relevant, with parents or guardians regarding progress
- Staying updated on effective teaching methods and English language learning resources
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Proficient in both spoken and written English
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any relevant background
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledgeable regarding student development as well as the subject being taught
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Adaptive and able to adjust teaching approaches to different learning styles

Working Schedule
This position follows a six-day work week, with working days from Monday to Saturday. Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00. Candidates should be available to commit to this schedule and be prepared to work in the Jakarta Barat area.
