Job Responsibilities
As a WTP Operator, your daily work will center on the reliable and efficient operation of the water treatment plant. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that water pumping operations meet established quality standards at all times.
- Performing routine maintenance on water systems and equipment, including filters and pumps, in accordance with the WTP’s standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Distributing drinking water to customers on time and according to the predetermined schedule.
- Preparing and documenting daily and monthly water operation data accurately and systematically.
- Conducting regular maintenance on filters, pumps, valves, and other machinery according to technical maintenance plans.
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any irregularities or potential issues to supervisors promptly.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with company safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this WTP Operator position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school or vocational school).
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in water treatment, pumping operations, or a similar technical role.
- Open to all genders.
- Demonstrated skills in machine control system maintenance.
- Basic understanding of water treatment processes, filters, pumps, and valves.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and technical maintenance plans precisely.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail when monitoring equipment and recording operational data.
- Willingness to work according to the set schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks in a plant environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
Work Environment and Schedule
This position is based in South Cikarang and is offered under a contract employment arrangement. The working days are Monday through Saturday, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. As a WTP Operator, you will work directly with water treatment equipment and systems, requiring both technical precision and consistent adherence to safety and quality standards. The role involves a combination of operational monitoring, routine maintenance, and documentation tasks, making it well-suited to candidates who enjoy practical, hands-on technical work.
What We Offer
PT Hyundai Inti Development offers a competitive salary range of IDR 1,800,000 to IDR 4,000,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
