Job Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repair of our store facilities. Your duties will cover electrical systems, water systems, building maintenance, and preventive monitoring. Specific responsibilities include:
Electrical Maintenance and Repair
- Inspect electrical installations regularly to ensure they are safe and operational.
- Repair electrical faults such as short circuits, broken lights, or damaged electrical equipment.
- Replace damaged cables, switches, sockets, or electrical panels.
- Coordinate with external electricians or vendors when advanced repairs are required.
Water System Maintenance and Repair
- Ensure a steady and smooth water supply throughout all store areas.
- Inspect and repair leaking pipes, faucets, or clogged water channels.
- Control and clean drainage systems to prevent water pooling or blockages.
- Ensure water tanks function properly and remain free from leaks.
Building and Store Facility Repairs
- Repair building damages such as cracked walls, leaking ceilings, or broken floors.
- Ensure the work area is clean and tidy after completing repairs.
- Perform repainting or repair store furniture when necessary.
- Replace or fix damaged doors, windows, or locks.
Monitoring and Prevention
- Conduct routine inspections of all store facilities to identify potential damage.
- Prepare maintenance and repair reports for work that has been completed.
- Recommend repairs or replacement of equipment that is no longer usable.
- Coordinate with store management to schedule regular maintenance.
Safety and Compliance Responsibilities
- Ensure all repair work complies with occupational safety standards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing risky repairs.
- Report any incidents or potential hazards found during work.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this Maintenance Technician role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Maximum 30 years old.
- Gender: Male.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a maintenance or technical repair role.
- Skills: Building architecture knowledge, electrical current handling, electronic component repair, and printer troubleshooting skills.
Beyond the technical requirements, the ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills are also important for coordinating with store management and external vendors. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance will be key to your success in this role.
Work Schedule and Environment
This position follows a work schedule from Monday to Saturday, with working hours from 10:00 to 22:00. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work primarily within our store environment, addressing both planned maintenance tasks and emergency repairs as they arise. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle various tools and equipment safely.
